With only a short walk from the Bedford Ave Subway Station, born in the East Williamsburg since 1999, Spoonbill & Sugartown is the cozy neighborhood bookstore you cannot miss.


The bookstore is compact and well curated. It has a great variety of books, updated regularly. When you walk into the store, you can find second-hand books and magazine on your left.



With multiple music venues nearby, Williamsburg is the uprising heart of New York’s art and music scene. You can find plenty of memoirs and documentary books about the New York music scene and musicians, as well as the latest books on Contemporary Art, Philosophy and various Design fields in the store. If you dive a little bit deeper into the store, they also offer many rare books, hand-picked Literature section in the back.


Spoonbill & Sugartown also invites authors and host readings in the store, creating a great atmosphere for readers and a lot of interactions.
